To the uninitiated, Tango (earlier Project Tango) is Google’s effort in augmented reality, while Daydream is Google’s virtual reality platform with supporting hardware and Daydream VR apps.
The phone sports a class-leading 8GB RAM and has 128 GB internal storage along with support to expandable storage. The device uses ASUS TriCam system, a three-camera system consisting of a 23MP main camera, motion-tracking camera and depth-sensing camera, integrated in a slim and light device. It also features the desktop-class Qualcomm Adreno 530 graphics-processing unit (GPU) to deliver supercharged graphics performance.
The ZenFone AR comes with ASUS SonicMaster 3.0 technology with a five-magnet speaker and NXP smart amplifier.
